Abstract:
Intelligent Networks for Secure Digital Future: AI-Driven Transformation in Telecommunications
The telecommunications industry faces unprecedented transformation as artificial intelligence converges with digital infrastructure. This keynote examines how AI reshapes network operations, security paradigms, and next-generation system design.
As 5G expands and 6G development accelerates, AI integration becomes essential for managing network complexity. Machine learning enables predictive maintenance, automated threat detection, and intelligent optimization. However, this evolution introduces critical vulnerabilities.
A pressing concern emerges with quantum computing: “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later” attacks. Adversaries collect encrypted data today, anticipating future decryption capabilities. This demands immediate transition to quantum-safe cryptography, including elliptic curve algorithms like X25519 and Ed25519, alongside post-quantum standards such as CRYSTALS-Kyber.
We address practical implementation challenges: legacy system integration, technical complexity, and workforce development. Success requires industry collaboration through academic partnerships, standardization efforts, and evolving regulatory frameworks.
This keynote provides actionable insights for building intelligent, secure networks capable of meeting future demands while maintaining robust security in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
